Classes and Workshops

For information on specific classes, click on "Calendar" in the side menu.

Classes are available throughout the year.

Members must register and pay for classes in the studio.

We do not use online registration.

We encourage ALL members to share their skills and knowledge.

Club members’ abilities have a very wide range, which means if you have learned to create ONE thing, you can teach it. Class size ranges from 4 to 15 - determined by the teacher and Education Coordinator.

NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTION TO CLAY is offered every month after Orientation. Offered ONLY to new members and a club requirement for new members. They will build a variety of pieces using available club tools, slab roller, textures, sprigs & glazes. They will learn to identify the steps in the progression from wet clay to a finished piece. It also allows them to become familiar with club rules and procedures as they work.

MONTHLY WORKSHOPS & DEMOS are available to all members and are FREE of charge.

“NO SIGN UP — JUST SHOW UP!”

DEMOS provide an opportunity to observe procedures and ask questions.

WORKSHOPS provide an opportunity to work along with the teacher. Members may bring appropriate tools and supplies (as posted ahead of time) and may follow along with the teacher. No individual instruction will be provided.
