Computer Club Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

The Computer Club has many groups that meet each month to discuss topics of interest. Computer Club members, click on the SIG name below for description and meeting schedule.  To add your name to the SIG mailing list, click on Resident home from the Sun City website, then click on "My Memberships".  From the My Memberships page, under the Computer Club, check the box of the SIG you want to join.


For those who are interested in coding, this SIG provides a place where discussion and information can be exchanged.


This special interest group deals with CyberSecurity in all forms.  


The DNA SIG is a subset of the Genealogy SIG (listed below) and provides a forum to learn about DNA tests for genealogy research.


The Genealogy SIG provides a forum for the exchange of information and experience about the use of computer programs and the many resources found on the web for genealogical research.


The iDevices SIG provides opportunity for sharing of experiences and knowledge about iPhones, iPads, Apple watches, iTunes & Applications. 

Internet of Things (IoT) 

A forum for the informal exchange of information and to educate and guide one another on how to experiment, design, and implement the microprocessors, micro-controllers, sensors, and activators associated with the Internet of Things.

MAC Users Group

The MAC Users Group invites any and everyone to share and contribute any and all things related to Apple's MacIntosh systems.


The VectorVest & Beyond (VVB) Special Interest Group (SIG) provides a forum for the exchange of information and experience about investing software for curious members at beginning and intermediate levels.  The goal is to learn more about using tools found within and other software such as,,, and


The Windows SIG is dedicated to the understanding and proficiency of the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
