LADY EAGLES FAIL TO MAKE PLAYOFFS
The Georgetown Lady Eagles lost their last four games to finish 5th in Region 4, District 25 behind Rouse, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill and Leander. Their record was 6-8 in District and 10-11 overall. This was a very tough year with COVID-19 that shortened the season to only 21 matches and no tournaments. Attendance was very low because of the virus, social distancing and the wearing of masks. It seemed that the season just flew by. The Sun City Eagle Boosters, along with many other fans, watched from afar on their computers where the games were streamed live. But, thanks to Sun City Eagle Boosters Girls Volleyball Director, Kay Wyckoff, every member was kept informed of the games, the links for the games, and the scores of the games. Thanks Kay.
