Billiard Club Room Etiquette

  • Respect the billiard room and the equipment - be a good neighbor!
  • Only Sun City residents and their guests are permitted to use the Billiard Room
  • Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times
  • The television volume must be off.

Age Requirements

  • Children must be tall enough to properly hold the cue above the table.
  • Children must be coordinated enough to strike the cue ball without damaging the table.
  • Children must be accompanied by a resident at all times.

Billiard Club Rules

  • Alcohol is prohibited in the billiard room without Board approval
  • Other drinks must be in cups with lids or in bottles with tops.
  • Drinks must be kept away from the tables.
  • During play one foot must be on the floor at all time.
  • Hand powder is prohibited.
  • Food is prohibited in the billiard room without Board approval
  • Sitting on the billiard tables is prohibited.
  • Residents are responsible for their or their guests damages to the tables and /or equipment
  • Use a felt square under the cue ball when breaking which will be in one of the pockets at the break end of the table.
  • Do not chalk your cue over the table.
  • Do not lean your cue stick on the painted walls.
  • Pets are not permitted.

After Finishing Play

  • Erase all the players names and scores from the dry erase board.
  • Put all the cue chalk on the shelf located on the wall unit located between the Billiards tables.
  • The billiard balls should be placed in the pockets.
  • The table should be covered.
