571 iPhone Basics 5 - Safari I: Intro to the Internet

Class Sessions:  One 2-hr session

Prerequisite: You should have attended 507, iPhone Basics 1, OR have at least a few months of iPhone experience prior to this course.

Course Description/Objectives:

You will begin using the Safari browser on your iPhone to learn about the Internet and web-searching. For example: what’s the difference between a web browser and a search engine? If you don’t know, you should take this course! We’ll then discuss the various search engines that you can use with Safari, and their different capabilities. Finally, we’ll create a bookmark for a favorite website.
