Social distancing and hand sanitizing are considered by the Board and Staff to be the primary components in stopping the spread of this virus. These practices are however an individual responsibility for your protection and that of others. • Littering on sidewalks, walking paths, nature trails, or other common areas is prohibited.
  • Residents must stay on designated nature trails.
  • Only motorized wheel chairs and personal mobility devices are allowed on all sidewalks, walking paths and nature trails.
  • Residents are prohibited from mowing, fertilizing, applying pesticides, planting or removing plants or otherwise altering common areas. Picking, removing or adding plant material from a common area is prohibited.
  • Residents walking a dog is a common area or nature trail must remove and properly dispose of their dog’s feces. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and under positive control so as not to interfere with or pose a threat to any person or animal.
  • The possession of firearms is prohibited in common areas. Firearms in a vehicle while in transit are not prohibited.

If these rules are not followed, we will stop allowing walkers to access the golf courses. Please be safe, have respect for those who live along the golf courses and practice social distancing - stay at least six feet from other people.

  • Walking Only
  • Resident and Resident Guest Only
  • Resident guests must be accompanied by a resident
  • No bicycles or golf carts
  • Pedestrians must stay on the cart path unless to maintain social distancing
  • Residents must carry CA issued Resident Badge or Driver’s License
  • Pets must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet
  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times - stay at least six feet from other people
  • Please bring a mask with you on your walk. If you can’t maintain six feet physical distancing then put on your mask while passing people and remove it when you are six feet away.
Mask Courtesy

It is important to stay distanced while being active: if you are out walking the trails and sidewalks please carry a mask for the times when you are not able to keep six feet of physical distance between you and people that are not in your household. We encourage you to wear a mask while passing on the sidewalk or trail so people don’t have to wander off into the bushes or onto the road. After you are six feet away from others then remove your mask and continue on your way. Masks are especially important when it is difficult to stay at least six feet apart from others.

Political Sign Rules
Submitted by Carl Zimmerman,
Community Standards Director, [email protected]

The community’s Political Sign policy allows residents to display political signs related to an upcoming election from 90-days prior to the election until 10-days after the election. Political signs must be in support of a specific candidate or ballot initiative. Residents will be asked to remove signs that don’t meet this standard. Signs related to the November 3, 2020 general election may be displayed now. These signs must be removed no later than Saturday, Nov. 14. Residents are limited to no more than one sign for each candidate for an office or for each measure on the ballot. A recent change to the community’s policy allows that if there is a difference of opinion between members of the household on which candidates are supported additional signs may be displayed. Each household member’s choice of candidates must be displayed in separate places on the lot.

Please contact Carl Zimmerman at 512-948-7461 with your questions.

Lock Your Doors: Cars, Home and Garage
Georgetown Police Department wants to remind you to lock your car, take your keys and hide your belongings. Also, remember to lock the doors to your home, while at home or away, and keep your garage door closed when not in use.

And if you see something, say something.

Energy Conservation Tips
Given the forecast for temperatures in the 100s in the coming days, the demand for energy could be reaching peak annual levels. High electric use could lead ERCOT to take steps to reduce demand, which could include energy conversation alerts or, in rare cases, rolling outages. Click below for tips to conserve energy.
Paper Ballot Application

If you are interested in getting a paper ballot in Williamson County to vote in the November Election, application & instructions to do so can be found on the Williamson County website. Applications must be submitted no later than 11 days prior to election.

 Around Sun City
Thanks.....but No Thanks !

The Horticulture Club is no longer accepting pots, garden art, various unwanted garden tools, etc. Thanks for not leaving these items at our gate. We do appreciate the thought, but we only have to throw these out and that fills our allotted trash bins at times.
 Wriggley's and Mulligan's Open
Both Mulligan's and Wriggley's are considered restaurants, not bars -- therefore they are open as long as our customers follow social distancing guidelines. Customers must  wear masks when entering, exiting and when moving around inside the buildings.
 Mask Requirements

Masks are required at the Farmers Market and the WOW! Bookmobile when they are in our parking lots.

Thank you!
