 COVID-19 Information Update
 
Stay Home Stay Safe order was issued on Tuesday, March 24 by Williamson County Judge Bill Gravel Jr.  This Order takes effect at 11:59 p.m. on March 24, 2020 and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2020, subject to the limited exceptions, all Georgetown residents are ordered to remain home, except to complete essential tasks or provide essential services. Essential tasks/businesses include grocery stores, City services, and healthcare. Click here to review the order. 
 
Reminder: Residents and outside guests are not allowed to use or enter the following facilities from March 14 - April 19 (this is being reviewed weekly by the CA Board and we are following the directives from our local government):
 
  • 3 Fitness Centers, 6 swimming pools, spas
  • All 3 Golf Courses including shops
  • Cart paths
  • All outdoor restrooms
  • Social Center including member services and the library
  • Legacy Hills Pavilion including kids play
  • Sun City Park Picnic Area and fishing areas
  • Retreat – including the Pavilion
  • Cowan Creek – including the Pavilion and the Amphitheater
  • Activity Center
  • Dedicated Club Space: Woodworking shop, Arts and Craft Centers, 10 Pickleball Courts, 12 Tennis Courts, Billiards Center, 8 Bocce Courts, 10 Horseshoes and Washer Courts, Softball Field, 2 Shuffleboard Courts, Dog park.  
 
Stay Home Stay Safe order allows the workers listed below to keep working under the guidelines that these services are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences, essential activities, and essential businesses. If you see the workers on our property please keep a 6 foot distance and allow them to finish their jobs.
  • Pool maintenance staff
  • Brightview landscaping crew for all common areas
  • Maintenance of Austin cleaning crew for the buildings
  • Golf maintenance crew for the 3 golf courses

“Why can’t we walk on the golf cart paths on the weekend?
 
Answer: Golf courses are closed. In addition to the courses being closed it has been requested by residents with houses on the golf courses to keep the cart paths closed to walkers due to the recent break-ins.
