Friendly Reminder:
Proposed Hiking Trails in North Point are NOT OPEN
Submitted by Jim Romine, Executive Director,
It has been brought to my attention that some residents are hiking in the North Point area where the Developer is considering to install hiking trails. To be very clear, there are NO trails in this area at this time and until such time the Developer decides to build in this section of Sun City, residents are asked to please stay out of these areas.
Please stick to the designated trails in Sun City that are now open.
If you have any questions about what trails are available, please refer to the website for trail information and locations.

Check Your Profile
It's time to update your profile for this year's Directory. Even if you have been listed in the printed directory in the past, it is critical that each resident log into the website to check and update their profile in the online directory by March 20! You can also visit the Member Services Office to make updates to your profile information.

Sun City Intersection Maintenance
The City of Georgetown will resume street maintenance in Sun City has resumed, focusing on the improvement of intersection safety. The work at each intersection will occur at two different time periods. This type of construction will allow for a more efficient construction schedule. The two different work elements are the foundation work (pole base installation, any concrete work, irrigation rework, etc.) and final sign installation (RRFB install, sign install, striping, activation). The work schedule can be affected by weather conditions, mechanical issues, and product availability.
To see the order and anticipated schedule for each intersection, click here>>

2020 Census Coming Soon
Look for a mailing from the U.S. Census Bureau in March, and respond to the survey online, by phone or by mail. The 2020 Census marks the first time you will have the option to respond online. Everyone living in the U.S. is required by law to be counted in the 2020 Census. You will be asked a few simple questions, such as age, sex and the number of people who live in your home. Your personal information is confidential and cannot be shared with anyone, including any government agencies or law enforcement. The Census will never ask you for your social security number, money or donations or credit card numbers.

Save the Koala Project
These precious victims of Australia's devastating wildfires need our help. One of our golf accessory vendors will contribute a percentage of all Koala Bear headcovers directly to the Australia Koala Foundation. Sun City's goal is to sell 100 headcovers. They are adorable and make great gifts for friends ... and especially your grandchildren.
You can consider them a cuddly toy or use them as a driver headcover! Koala headcovers are available at all three Golf Shops at only $21.99.
