Just think of the store clerk clocking out to meet a cable technician who’s four hours late; the landscape contractor who gets rained out; or the Sun City personal trainer whose client fails to show up for a scheduled workout.
 
Unfortunately, the latter happens way too often. And when a client fails to show or cancels at the last minute, its money down the drain for both the trainer and the Fitness Center. That time slot also goes to waste, because it could have been offered to someone on the trainer’s waiting list. 
 
24-Hour Notice
To discourage no shows and last minute cancellations, the Fitness Center recently instituted a 24-hour cancellation policy for both personal training and massage therapy. Failure to cancel at least 24 hours in advance without a reasonable excuse can result in a resident be charged for the missed appointment. 
 
The 24-hour policy also applies to a new resident who is a “no show” for their free consult with a personal trainer. That resident will not be allowed to reschedule.
 
Emergencies Happen
We realize emergencies happen. When they do, call your trainer or your massage therapist as soon as possible to explain the situation and reschedule your appointment.
