USGA Local Rule Change
New local rule now in effect for Sun City Texas.
Rule: Alternative to Stroke & Distance Penalty
For a ball hit out of bounds or lost, the following is a local rule alternative to taking a stroke and distance penalty and replaying the shot.
After determining, by consensus of the group, where a ball went out of bounds or, if lost, was last seen, a ball may be dropped on the fairway, at the fairway’s closest point and no closer to the hole, with a penalty of two shots.

Buying More Rounds
Punch Card Holders & Afternoon Passes
Many punch card holders, especially 25 and 50 round punch card holders, are running low or are out of rounds. To check on your status, you may inquire in the golf shops or review your monthly statement.
Adding More Punch Card Rounds
To buy more rounds, you may do so in minimum quantities of ten rounds at the same per round rate. You may also pay as you go at the same per round rate. However, given the amount of time until the end of the year, and for efficiency at check-in, we encourage golfers to go with the minimum of ten (10) rounds. Of course you can buy more than ten but the purchase still needs to be in increments of ten; except that twenty-five (25) rounds is also an option.
Afternoon Pass Rounds
Buying additional rounds for Afternoon Passes can only be done in increments of fifteen (15).
