Austin-based musician, singer and songwriter Mandy Prater would probably tell you that music saved her life many times since she started her first garage band as a teen in small-town Indiana. She writes about love, vulnerability and the courage to be authentic with melodies that are accessible while still maintaining an edge. Her single, “On The Outside” released in 2021 reached both the Texas Internet Radio and Texas Country Music Radio charts. Miranda and Chris have drawn their musical inspiration from American deserts and mountains to the South Australian coast while navigating a shared journey through mortality, grief, and compassion for differing perspectives.
