The first time indie-folk Americana duo Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes played music and sang together, their “harmony just fell in...” Their initial effort, Golden Heart, reached Billboard’s Folk chart and landed at #2 on iTunes, kicking off a whirlwind of touring and co-writing for the pair. Miranda and Chris have drawn their musical inspiration from American deserts and mountains to the South Australian coast while navigating a shared journey through mortality, grief, and compassion for differing perspectives. Chris Hawkes has also played lead guitar and sings with Sister Golden Hair – they call him “Mister Golden Hair”. Join us in the ballroom as Dawn & Hawkes debut in Sun City!

Her single, “On The Outside” released in 2021 reached both the Texas Internet Radio and Texas Country Music Radio charts.
