In my previous articles I have shared with you my background, community experience and what “things” the CA Board and Staff need to be “looking into."
As our Developer begins planning their final and few remaining neighborhoods, we want to preserve the lifestyle and features that we moved here to enjoy by remaining physically and fiscally secure.
I believe some of the matters we should give consideration before transition would include:
- Assess existing amenities and facilities for enhancements. A few examples to assess would be irrigation water back up supply, car and cart parking, cart path links, existing restroom expansions, additional park benches, select building upgrades, walking path refurbishment and signage upgrades.
- Assure our amenities, services, facilities, and CA staff continue to be operated, maintained, and funded for best-in-class standards.
- Appropriately fund reserve, working capital and capital asset funds.
- Assure our fire wise, emergency management, wildlife and waterways maintenance programs are adequately funded, equipped and deployed.
- Assure City Fire, Police and Emergency services focus and provide for our size and age-related needs.
I am familiar with most of these matters and have strong working relationships with the CA staff, advisory committees, the NRO, City and County representatives, and our Developer. These relationships allow me to freely discuss issues, concerns, and develop an understanding of a situation, its perspectives, and form reasonable solutions.
You elect Board members to make CA decisions on your behalf. If re-elected, I will continue to, “always do my best to make informed decisions and take responsible actions that are in the best interests of our community now and for its future.”
Thank you for your consideration during this campaign. I would appreciate your vote and support.
