A positive case of COVID-19 for an employee who works on the Golf Operations team has been reported to Human Resources. The employee name may not be disclosed. We have asked the employee to contact anyone with whom they spent more than 15 minutes while within six feet of distance. The employee was last in the Cowan Creek Cart Barn and Pro Shop office on Saturday, May 14. The employee was vaccinated, boosted and reported mild symptoms. If you visited the area and are experiencing any symptoms, please seek medical attention and follow your physician’s direction.

The CA Board and department directors continue to closely monitor COVID-19 information released by the Williamson County and Cities Health District. Resource links are included at the bottom of this message.

There are no mandatory restrictions of activities in Sun City Texas. It is an individual choice to participate in any CA activity or to enter any CA venue, and one does so at their own risk. Residents who wish to wear masks at indoor venues are welcome to do so, as recommended by the CDC.

Thank you and stay safe.
