A positive case of COVID-19 for a resident has been reported. The resident name may not be disclosed. We have asked the resident to contact anyone with whom they spent more than 15 minutes while within six feet of distance. The resident was last in the Texas Drive Fitness Center on Wednesday, April 27, around 8-9 a.m. The resident was vaccinated and boosted and reported mild symptoms. If you visited the area and are experiencing any symptoms, please seek medical attention and follow your physician’s direction.

The CA Board and department directors continue to closely monitor COVID-19 information released by the Williamson County and Cities Health District. Resource links are included at the bottom of this message.

There are no mandatory restrictions of activities in Sun City Texas. It is an individual choice to participate in any CA activity or to enter any CA venue, and one does so at their own risk. Residents who wish to wear masks at indoor venues are welcome to do so, as recommended by the CDC. Please take your safety and the safety of others seriously during this time.

Thank you and stay safe.
