 Golf Shop News
Golf Shop Closures: White Wing and Cowan Creek
 
Both the White Wing and Cowan Creek golf shops remain closed. These closures are due to the installation of new cabinetry and slat wall. The expected build time is three to four days. A special communicator will be sent once this process is complete and these golf shops have reopened.
 
Until then, balls will be available on the driving range and check-in will be completed at the first tee or on the golf course for shotguns. If you have any questions you can contact any of the three golf shops.
 
Thank you for your patience throughout this process. We are very excited for each of you to see your new golf shops!
Golf Course Maintenance Update
 Legacy Hills Renovation Update
 
Players, we are excited to begin the renovation at Legacy Hills at the beginning of August. We will be renovating holes 3, 10, 11 and 18. The great news is that the work will be done within play. There may be times that we need to shut down a hole or two, but the majority, if not all of the course, will be in play for the duration of the renovation. The renovation should take between six to eight weeks. Another positive note is that these four holes are the bulk of the remaining work to be done on Legacy Hills and should make any further renovations less invasive in the following years. There will be a construction meeting on Tuesday, July 27 where we will detail the process. We will keep you updated with pertinent information throughout the renovation.
 
Posting scores during the Legacy Hills renovation:
 
The upcoming Legacy Hills renovation project will affect a total of four holes. Scores will still be eligible to be posted to GHIN. While the affected holes are being renovated, scores for those holes should be recorded as "par plus any applicable handicap strokes." This is in accordance with Rule 3.2 of the USGA Handicap Manual. Please contact Erik Beyer at [email protected] with any questions.
Submit Your Course Records
You won’t know if you don’t submit! We need more course records and in particular, Women’s course records. We’ve received a number of course record submissions, but still lack quite a few from each tee box. We need your help determining the current course records from each tee box. If you believe a round you shot is in contention, we need the following information.
 
  • Player name
  • Date the round was played
  • The tee box the round was played from
  • A completed scorecard with hole-by-hole scores
  • The player names that witnessed the round
 
Please drop off a completed scorecard with the above information to Andy Miller at the Cowan Creek Golf Shop, and contact him at [email protected] with any questions.

Please send a photo you shot on one of the three golf courses along with a short description. When sending your picture please send in the highest resolution possible and please provide a title you would like used if selected.

2021 Punch Card and Annual/Combo Pass

In an effort to reduce traffic in the golf shops as much as possible, Golf passes and punch cards for 2021 are now available for purchase in all three golf shops. You can call any of the three golf shops and they can handle your transaction over the phone. The phone number for each golf shop is given below.

Punch Card Balances
As we are now at the halfway point of the year, many punch card holders are beginning to run on low balances or may even be out completely. You can refer to your statement or you can check with a golf shop to see where your account stands. If you'd like to add more rounds, you may do so in increments of 10 rounds at the same per round rate. This can be done at any of the three golf shops.

Golf Course Walking Rules
 
  • Walking Only.
  • Residents and resident guests Only.
  • Resident guests must be accompanied by a resident.
  • No bicycles or golf carts.
  • Pedestrians must stay on the cart path.
  • Residents must carry CA issued resident badge or driver’s license.
  • Pets must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet.
