Watch Your Golf Cart Speed!
Please be careful and slow down to a safe speed when driving on the golf courses. There have been several close calls recently as well as one collision that could have been avoided had the players been driving slower while on the golf course.

It is especially important to slow down around corners, while driving over hills and while near areas that players may be stopping or exiting their golf carts. For example, many players stop near the starter shack at Cowan Creek to use the restroom and the cart path often becomes congested.

Please be safe so you can shoot the round of your life! Thank you.
Handicap Access Flags
For those that have handicap access flags, please remember these flags should be clearly displayed at or above the roof line of the golf cart so that they are visible from a distance while on the golf course.

Handicap-Flagged Golf Cart Guidelines:

+ Should be no closer than 30 feet or 10
   yards from the green.

+ Should not be driven between the
   green and the cart path.

+ Should not be driven between the
   green and the greenside bunkers.

Course Records
We are looking into displaying the course records from each tee box for each course. We need your help determining the current course records from each tee box. If you believe a round you shot is in contention, we need the following information.

  • Player name
  • Date the round was played
  • The tee box the round was played from
  • A completed scorecard with hole-by-hole scores
  • The player names that witnessed the round

Please drop off a completed scorecard with the above information to Andy Miller at the Cowan Creek Golf Shop and contact him at [email protected] with any questions.

Golf Shop Closures: White Wing and Cowan Creek

Beginning Monday, July 19, both the White Wing and Cowan Creek golf shops will be closed. These closures are due to the installation of new cabinetry and slat wall. The expected build time is three to four days. From there we will be able to restock. A special communicator will be sent once this process is complete and these golf shops have reopened.

Until then, balls will be available on the driving range and check-in will be completed at the first tee or on the golf course for shotguns. If you have any questions you can contact any of the three golf shops.

Thank you for your patience throughout this process. We are very excited for each of you to see your new golf shops!

Punch Card Balances
As we are now at the halfway point of the year, many punch card holders are beginning to run on low balances or may even be out completely. You can refer to your statement or you can check with a golf shop to see where your account stands. If you'd like to add more rounds, you may do so in increments of 10 rounds at the same per round rate. This can be done at any of the three golf shops.
