Family Hospital Systems (FHS) has vaccinated more than 23,000 Texans with the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. In the next few weeks, appointments for the second dose of the vaccine will begin. Originally, the plan was for people who received their first dose in the Sun City Social Center Ballroom (SCB) to come back to the SCB for the second dose; however, due to the need to better adhere to social distancing protocols, as well as the desire to vaccinate more people each day, the vaccination location has moved to the Georgetown ISD Athletic Complex at 2275 N Austin Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626.

When you received your first shot of the vaccine, you were given a date for your second shot. You will be receiving a reminder email regarding your second appointment with the new location noted in the email; however, if you do not receive a reminder email, please plan to come on the date you were given to the GISD Athletic Complex, entering the parking lot from Stadium Drive/CR 151 in Georgetown. Please remember to bring your white card with your first vaccination date on it with you. This is for second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine only.

People waiting on their first dose will be getting an email when it is their turn to make an appointment for the vaccine. Due to the limited supply of the vaccine, FHS is working through their waitlist as supplies allow. We appreciate your continued patience during this process to reduce the spread and devastation of the coronavirus.

For more information, please go to www.wilco.org/coronavirus. If you have vaccine questions not found on the website, please call the County’s call center at 512-943-1600. The call center can confirm if you are on the waitlist or help you get on the waitlist. Call center operators cannot answer medical questions or tell you your place on the waitlist.
