The Community Association staff presentation will begin at 9:15 a.m. and ends at approximately 10 a.m. You will have an opportunity to meet the staff and learn how your Community Association operates.  Williamson County starts call center
for COVID-19 vaccine information
We have heard that their call center is receiving a large volume of calls. If you get a recording that is because all call center personnel are helping Williamson County residents and you will need to try again later.
 
Williamson County has set up a call center to serve as a resource for residents interested in COVID-19 vaccine information. 
 
  • Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Phone number 512-943-1600
  • Will assist individuals on how to sign up on the Family Hospital Systems vaccine waitlist by walking them through the process over the phone
  • Will confirm that someone is on the waitlist
  • Will give information about the County's vaccine plan
  • Will share details on the County's Vaccine Registration Technical Assistance (VTRA) sites

Even if you have been listed in the printed directory in the past, it is critical that each resident log-in to the website to check and update their profile in the online directory by Saturday, March 20! You can also call the Member Services Office at 512-948-7720 to make an appointment to update to your profile information.

Event Tickets
You are now able to purchase event tickets through our new Event Ticketing system (VBO). As with our previous ticketing system, you will
 
  • go to the Sun City Website, www.sctexas.org
  • log-in with your resident information, then click on Tickets at the top of the webpage.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 15, residents will be able to purchase event tickets by contacting the Member Services Office at 512-948-7720.
Chartered Club Membership
 
Residents can purchase Chartered Club memberships online at www.sctexas.org or email [email protected] or call 512-948-7718.
 Texas Drive Aerobic Pool and
the Cowan Creek Lap Pool Closures
 
The Texas Drive aerobic pool will be closed from Thursday, Feb. 4 – Sunday, Feb. 21.
The Cowan Creek lap pool will then close from Monday, Feb. 22 – Sunday, March 7.
 
The glass roof panels are being replaced due to the hail damage from the past storm.
Please understand that there could be equipment delays and weather delays that could change the length of closures and timeframe. Thank you for your patience during these closures.
 
** The Retreat Outdoor Pool will be heated to help with overcrowding for lap swim and water walking from Thursday, Feb. 4 - through the completion of Cowan Creek lap pool on Sunday, March 7. Thank you for being patient during these two major projects.

Please carry a mask for those times when you are not able to keep six feet of physical distance between you and people that are not in your household. This is especially important to remember when jogging or walking the hiking trails, golf cart paths, sidewalks and when outside with others in potentially close proximity.

AARP Tax Service at Cowan Creek begins Friday, Feb. 19
The AARP Tax-Aide program is going to be offering tax assistance this year at the Cowan Creek Amenity Center starting Friday, Feb. 19. Appointments required.
 
 
 United Way of Williamson County Offers Free Electronic Tax Preparation
United Way of Williamson County's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is pleased to offer free drop off / pick up tax preparation service at 1205 Round Rock Ave., Ste. 106, Round Rock, TX 78681 by appointment only.
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 10 and running through Thursday, April 15, IRS-certified tax preparers will be available to provide assistance to households earning $57,000 or less annually and to older adults of all income levels. Tax preparers are certified through the IRS annually and returns are filed electronically according to IRS standards. Free tax preparation services are available in English and Spanish. Customers must remain in their vehicle at all times and wear a face mask when talking to volunteers.

 Wriggley's and Mulligan's offer dine-in and take-out
Both Mulligan's and Wriggley's are considered restaurants, not bars -- therefore they are open as long as our customers follow social distancing guidelines. Customers must wear masks when entering, exiting and when moving around inside the buildings.

  • Resident guests must be accompanied by a resident.
  • No bicycles or golf carts.
  • Pedestrians must stay on the cart path unless to maintain social distancing.
  • Residents must carry CA issued resident badge or driver’s license.
  • Pets must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet. 
  • Please bring a mask with you on your walk. If you can’t maintain six feet physical distancing then put on your mask while passing people and remove it when you are six feet away.
