Effective Monday, Jan. 11

Due to the increase in COVID-19 numbers in Williamson County, Sun City Texas Community Association is making the below changes to operating procedures to limit bodies in the buildings. This is an effort to keep operations open and try to keep our community safe. If the COVID-19 numbers continue to increase in Williamson County additional measures will be taken and updates will be provided to the community.

Please help us by continuing to wear your masks and following the CDC recommended guidelines.

It is still an individual choice to participate (or not) in any CA activity or to enter any CA venue, and one does so at their own risk. Please take your safety and other’s seriously during this particularly difficult time.

Resolve to have a great year with the City of Georgetown
This month as you make your 2021 New Year Resolutions, keep in mind that the City can help you make 2021 the best year yet! If health and fitness are among your goals for the new year, check out all the programs, parks, trails and facilities from our amazing Parks and Recreation Department. If one of your goals is to read more next year, our National Medal winning Georgetown Public Library offers a smorgasbord of authors and titles for you to try through curbside pickup since the library is currently closed due to COVID-19.
We hope you and your family have safe and happy New Year!
Resources for Injured or Dead Wildlife

The Sun City Homeowners Association has no responsibility for animals on private property. They will remove dead animals from the common space that may be behind or next to your lot.  If this is the case, call the Texas Drive Monitor's Desk, at 512-948-7701.

Georgetown Animal Control will come and evaluate a wild animal that is acting strangely and may be sick.  For this service call 512-930-3510.  There is generally an Animal Control officer available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week; however, this staff is small and you may experience delays in the arrival of an Animal Control officer.

The city of Georgetown will remove dead animals from the streets.  Call 512-930-3510 for this service.

If you need help with removal of a dead or annoying or destructive animal from your property, there are private companies that you can contact. It is against Sun City CC&R's (See Use Restrictions 2.1 (c)) for residents to trap any animal on their property. If you do a google search for "animal removal Georgetown TX" you will find several choices.

What should I do if I hit a deer with my car in Sun City?
If the deer is in the street or on the curb call the City of Georgetown dispatch at 512-930-3557. This removal service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless the animal is causing a traffic hazard during hours outside of this time frame. For dead or injured deer in the common area, call the Texas Drive Monitor's desk, 512-948-7701.
