Painting Contractor using false references
It has come to my attention that there is a painting contractor who is soliciting business in Sun City and is telling residents that he is painting my home and that I am very happy with his work. This is completely false and I am not using any paint contractor at this time. If you ever have any contractor stating they are doing business with me or even the CA, please feel free to contact me to confirm before proceeding with any contract or paying any deposits.
|
|
Phone Scams
During the holidays we would like to remind residents to be diligent and double check all information before sending money, gift cards or gifts. While new scams pop up every day, criminals are especially busy this time of year.
Be very careful with phone calls and before sending any money or signing up for something, check it out.
Please click here to visit Georgetown Police Department’s Crime Prevention & Safety Tips page to arm yourself with information about scams and how to report fraud.
