The final steps of the 2021 CA Budget Process are upon us. The staff has been working since late July and have presented departmental budgets to respective Committees for approval.

The next step involves the Finance Committee's review and recommendation which then requires Board approval.

The following are the Finance Committee and Board presentation dates.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m., SCB: Finance Committee Budget Workshop
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1 p.m., The Oaks: Finance Committee Meeting for review of the final version of the budget before sending a recommendation to the Board.
  • Thursday, Nov. 5, 1 p.m., SCB: Board Workshop
  • Thursday, Nov. 19, 1 p.m., SCB: Board Meeting

If you plan to attend any of the meetings, please note that masks will need to be worn at all times when in the building and all seating will be spaced. If the room has met capacity then guests will be denied entrance to the meeting. Staff liaisons are responsible for room capacities during the transitional phases. For those who will be speaking, your mask may be removed only while you are talking.
