Block Parties 6 - 9 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual event created to promote police-community partnerships and to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. The event is celebrated nationwide, and last year there were more than 100 registered National Night Out events in Georgetown! Neighbors who register their block parties or cookouts enjoy a visit from Georgetown Police Department officers, other local law enforcement officers, elected officials, Georgetown firefighters, EMS technicians or other City employees.

To register your National Night Out block party in Georgetown Click Here to visit the police website to complete the online registration form. Block parties are organized from 6-9 p.m. Registration ends on Friday, Sept. 22. Registering your block party provides your information to the Georgetown Police Department so that an officer or other City employees or officials can visit your block party.

Host Reception

The Georgetown Police Department is hosting a reception for hosts of the block parties at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Public Safety Operations and Training Center, 3500 D.B. Wood Road.
