 Brimming with the spirit of giving, Fredericksburg Theater presents The Gift of the Magi, a story by O. Henry. Set in New York City around 1900, an aspiring newspaper man, Jim, meets a comely young lady, Della, and they begin a courtship. A few years into their marriage, their love and devotion shines as bright as a Christmas star, even when they only have pocket change to buy a Christmas gift for each other. With the warmth of a classic romance, The Gift of the Magi could melt the Grinch's cold heart and turn 'ol Scrooge into a softy. After the show, enjoy dinner on your own in downtown Fredericksburg and a stop to see the amazing light displays in Johnson City. Note: We will not be making a lunch stop.
