In summer 1965, Francesca Johnson's (Meryl Streep) future seemed clear, but then an unexpected fork in the road causes her to question everything in her life. While her husband and children are away, photographer Robert Kincaid (Clint Eastwood) arrives at the Johnson farm asking for directions to the county's historic bridges that are his next assignment. When Francesca reluctantly agrees to take this complete stranger to the bridges, she discovers that they have much in common leading to an intense love affair during Robert's four-day stay. Feel free to bring along your own beverages. No food items are allowed and popcorn and water will not be provided.
