Tuesday: "Come and Take it!" Battle of Gonzales; Presidio La Bahía-historical Spanish fort in Goliad; Fannin Monument & Battle Grounds-exhibit and boxed lunch (with ticket purchase choose: ham, turkey or veggie sandwich); Museum of the Coastal Bend in Victoria "Where Texas History Begins."
Wednesday: George Ranch Historical Park-23,000-acre working ranch with 3 homesteads and cattle complex, and chuckwagon bbq lunch; National Museum of Funeral History-a kooky bit of fun.
Thursday: A bird's eye view from the top of The San Jacinto Monument with battlegrounds, museum and the Battle of San Jacinto movie "Texas Forever!"; fresh seafood lunch (with ticket purchase choose: fried shrimp or blackened tilapia) at Monument Inn, a landmark restaurant; San Felipe de Austin State Park-the Colonial Capital of Texas and museum.
