Cowboy up for a day of rodeo history, Austin eats, and crafted beer.  Coopers Old Time BBQ and Fairground Austin are the featured restaurants for lunch on your own today.  Coopers, the ‘best of the best’ in the barbecue business, has settled into a historic building on Congress featuring a rooftop garden and oak-shaded back patio.  Fairground Austin is a unique new urban marketplace featuring six local vendors offering one of a kind concepts in food and beverage service.  Burgers to tacos, noodles to nuts, it is the new style in food courts.

Rodeo! The Exhibition at the Bob Bullock History Museum is our next stop. This special exhibit contains classic artifacts and multi-media experiences spanning decades of Texas rodeo competitions and placing visitors in the heart of the arena. From Fort Worth to Houston, Austin to San Antonio, see how Texas rodeos and stock shows have created a lasting legacy of youth education, community involvement and the historic preservation of this long established Texas tradition.

Our final destination is Austin Beerworks.  Meet the talented brew masters, take a look at their process, learn why they are doing it different than other craft breweries, and choose a frothy cold brew (12 oz craft brew included).

Ticket cost includes transportation, museum fees and brew.
