Neil Simon is famous for his charming and delightful comedies. One of his most famous, Barefoot in the Park, follows the life of a conservative lawyer who marries a free spirited New Yorker. The passionate lovebirds begin life in a five-story walkup with new found neighbors and a meddling mother. Oh what fun! This Broadway hit found a world-wide audience in the 1967 movie version starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. Full of laughs and unique characters, this comedy will please everyone. Before the theatre we will make a two-hour stop in Fredericksburg, the gem of the Hill Country. You will have time to explore more than 150 shops and have lunch on your own. Maps will be provided.
