Discussion Group Name: “Nothing But…” (one topic would be added for each session) Example: "Nothing But Focus"
Leaders: Jim Newkirk (Nikon) and Larry Dennis (Pentax)
Frequency of meeting: Once a Week (see example below where Week One would be on June,…) on Mondays from 9 to 11 (2 hour sessions) Except when Coffee Klatch is held; on that Monday it would be from Noon to 2pm.
Prerequisite: Camera with Manual. Registration on Club Calendar.
Goal: Proficiency using their camera for the scheduled topic; building to overall proficiency of camera use and photo production.
Agenda: We would address only one topic. Bring your manual and camera. There would be time for one-on-one help with member, camera, and manual covering only the topic scheduled.
The following week we would look at photos with only one review in mind…the Nothing But exercise of that week.
A month may look like… Week 1 Focus Week 2 Focus Review Week 3 Exposure Week 4 Exposure Review
Topics would be: Focus Exposure Shutter ISO Composition Impact Artifacts …and if interest continues…other topics. |
