WORKSHOP: Getting Started with Lightroom 6/CC - Feb. 27 @ 2 pm.

Are you interested in learning about Lightroom? Ron Addison is leading a workshop on the basics of how to get started with Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 in Activities Center – Game Rooms 1 & 2.

Lightroom is an Adobe product that helps you organize your images, and “develop” your images.  Develop would include adjusting the color, contrast, perspective (correct a building that looks like it is falling backwards), removing haze, removing noise, sharpening the image, etc.  Lightroom also has modules to show where images were taken, make web pages, make web pages, make slide shows, and print your images.

The next workshop will be on Monday, Feb. 27 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.

The workshop will focus on developing a basic understanding of how to use Lightroom to organize and develop your images so that you can then deepen your knowledge by working with the Quick Start Guide and YouTube videos on your own

We will start this workshop with a review of the first meeting on Lightroom about how to have Lightroom catalog your images.  Then we will take some example images and “develop” them in Lightroom.  Ron will stay after the meeting to assist anyone needing help getting their images cataloged.

YouTube videos may also be used from Julieanne Kost, Anthony Morganti, and others.

There are two requirements for the workshop: First, have Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 on your computer(if you don’t have it now, please download a free 30-day demo from:  http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom.html ). A second requirement is to go to http://www.lightroomqueen.com/ and sign up for Victoria Bampton’s newsletter, get her free Lightroom eBook, and download the free demo images.

If you have questions about this workshop, drop Ron an email at [email protected].
