Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14, a film crew will be shooting an AMC television show in the quarry north of Ronald Reagan Blvd. Filming will take place for one week, from Tuesday to Monday. Their crew of 150-250 people will enter using a construction entrance across from the intersection of Sun City Blvd. and Ronald Reagan Blvd.

Due to the increased amount of traffic at this intersection, Williamson County Sheriff vehicles will be on site with lights flashing to caution drivers. This is simply a precaution. It may be advantageous for residents to use an alternate entrance/exit during this time. 

Parts of the production include shooting scenes and pyrotechnics so residents may see smoke and/or hear loud noises coming from the quarry. The production team has worked with the city, county, police and fire departments to secure all appropriate permissions and permits to carry out the filming. They will be in regular communication with emergency dispatch to keep them advised of their activities should citizens have questions. They anticipate minimal disruption to residents as filming will take place inside the quarry.
