Sun City Texas is honored once again to host the top Texas high school golfers for their year-end championships. Past winners of this tournament have been Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw and Jordan Spieth, so there is a chance to witness some golf history. There will be two tournaments over four days for the top high school conferences, 6A and 5A. Play starts each day at 8 a.m.

Volunteers are Needed, but You Don't Need to Be a Golfer!
There are many opportunities to volunteer for positions such as crossing guards, parking attendants, ball spotters, shuttle drivers and other duties as needed. You can select your volunteer position and date preferences.

We especially need help with parking assistance, crossing guards and shuttling players (you must have your own cart) from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 13 & 14 and May 20 & 21.

If you have questions or want to help, please contact Janice Brown at [email protected] or 512-943-0119.

Spectators Are Welcome
If you come out to watch the play, please use our community streets - not the golf course cart paths. The courses will be busy with coaches, players and their families, so please help us minimize golf course traffic during tournament play. If you must access the cart path on the golf courses, please keep your golf carts on the cart path.

Parking
There will be parking for coaches, players, rules officials and handicapped at the pro shops. All other parking will go to the “B” and “C” lots that will be identified with signage. Staff and volunteers will be directing traffic to the parking areas available for UIL Tournament guests and parents. Driving golf carts for shared parking lot spaces is highly encouraged.
