As your natural gas provider, Atmos Energy consistently seeks new ways to improve our service to you. Over the next couple of months, as part of system improvements in Sun City, Atmos Energy is installing a wireless meter-reading device on your natural gas meter.

The wireless meter-reading device is a radio transmitter mounted directly to a natural gas meter that automatically sends your usage information to Atmos Energy. The transmitters will allow us to read your meter electronically – eliminating the need to come on your property every month.

With wireless meter reading technology, you can monitor your gas usage on a daily basis in your online Account Center at www.atmosenergy.com.

This project should not cause disruption of service. However, if we cannot access your meter, or your current meter is not compatible with the device, we will leave a note on your door with instructions requesting you call Atmos Energy to schedule an appointment to complete this work. If you have any questions, please call 1-888-286-6700 to speak with an Atmos Energy customer service representative.

If you smell gas, leave the area immediately and call 911 and our 24/7 emergency number at 866-322-8667. Atmos Energy will always send a qualified technician free of charge.
