Sun City Texas Community Association policy has been to follow GISD's lead regarding inclement weather shutdowns and delays. GISD made the decision to cancel school and close district facilities tomorrow, Feb. 3. All CA Facilities will be closed tomorrow, Feb. 3. We will update the community tomorrow, Feb. 3 by 1 p.m. for Friday, Feb. 4 openings, delays or closings.
The SOSR Town Hall scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4 has been cancelled and the new date will be announced when it's been scheduled.

Williamson County Office of Emergency Management is notifying you that a Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, for the Hill Country and Central Texas including Williamson County. Significant icing is expected with a mix of freezing rain and sleet. Temperatures will be at or below freezing. Residents are urged to stay home due to hazardous road conditions, particularly on elevated roadways and bridges. If you must drive, please drive with extreme caution, slow down, and leave plenty of room between yourself and other vehicles. Please take measures now to protect your people, pets, plants and pipes.
