Positive COVID-19 cases have been reported to Human Resources. Names will not be shared, and the employees were instructed to contact anyone with whom they spent more than 15 minutes while within six feet of distance:

Fitness Center employee, last in the Texas Drive Fitness Center Monday, Jan. 31 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. – received vaccines and booster, experiencing no symptoms.

Housekeeping employee, last in the Texas Drive Fitness Center on Sunday, Jan. 30, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – received vaccines and booster, experiencing mild cough.

Per CDC guidelines we will continue to encourage but not require residents to wear masks indoors. However, based on the current COVID-19 climate in our area, management has made the decision that all Community Association Staff will continue to wear masks indoors until further notice.

The CA Board and department directors continue to closely monitor COVID-19 information released by the Williamson County and Cities Health District. The COVID-19 spread in Williamson County is rated as “High.” There are no mandatory restrictions of activities in Sun City Texas.

It is an individual choice to participate in any CA activity or to enter any CA venue, and one does so at their own risk. Residents who wish to wear masks at indoor venues are welcome to do so, as recommended by the CDC. Please take your safety and the safety of others seriously during this time.

Thank you and stay safe.
