A second positive case of COVID-19 for an employee who works on the Golf Maintenance team has been reported to Human Resources today. The employee name may not be disclosed. We have asked the employee to contact anyone with whom they spent more than 15 minutes while within six feet of distance. The employee was last in the Legacy Hills Golf Maintenance Barn today, Jan. 7, 2022. The employee was vaccinated but not boosted. They reported allergy like symptoms. If you visited the area and are experiencing any symptoms, please seek medical attention and follow your physician’s direction.

Per CDC guidelines we will continue to encourage but not require residents to wear masks indoors. However, based on the current COVID climate in our area, management has made the decision that all Community Association Staff must wear masks indoors, effective immediately, until further notice.

The CA Board and department directors continue to closely monitor COVID-19 information released by the Williamson County and Cities Health District. The COVID-19 spread in Williamson County is rated as “High.” There are no mandatory restrictions of activities in Sun City Texas.

It is an individual choice to participate in any CA activity or to enter any CA venue, and one does so at their own risk. Residents who wish to wear masks at indoor venues are welcome to do so, as recommended by the CDC. Please take your safety and the safety of others seriously during this time.

Thank you and stay safe.
