April 20 9 a.m. • BallroomLearn more about the candidates running for your CA Board by attending the Candidate Forum on Thursday, April 20 at 9 a.m. in the Ballroom. Residents are encouraged to submit questions they would like all candidates to respond to by sending an email to [email protected] or by submitting written questions at the Member Services Office, Attention: Elections Committee, by 4pm on Tuesday, April 18. Questions will also be collected at the Candidate Forum.
There are two candidates and two open positions, why do we still have an election? State law dictates that any homeowner, qualified or non-qualified, may run for a position on the Board of Directors, which allows for write-in candidates. So while the election may be considered uncontested, we must allow for write-in opportunities as determined by state law. If you are unable to attend the candidate forum, you can view it on the website or on Channel 18 following the event. You can also learn more about the candidates through the Special Communicator emails, candidate videos, bulletin board flyers and webpages at www.sctexas.org. Access the candidate pages » ____________________ Nominating Committee ApplicationsThe Nominating Committee is unique in that it recruits and interviews applicants
