Message from CA Board and Directors
August 3, 2021
Williamson County is now in Covid-19 phase red (uncontrolled community spread). All three indicators below need to be met to move from the red phase to the orange phase:
1. The incidence rate must remain below 12.7 per 100,000 persons
for 14 consecutive days. Incidence should be trending down during
those 14 days.
2. The positive test rate needs to be below 15 percent for 14
consecutive days. The positive test rate is currently below 15 percent
but is trending up and has been for the past 21 days.
3. The COVID hospitalization rate for TSA Region O needs to be
decreasing for 14 consecutive days. The TSA rate is currently
trending up.
The CA Board and staff Directors have been monitoring the phases and county recommendations daily. Currently, there is no mandatory restriction on activities. Residents must take personal responsibility and do what they think is best for them. Residents may choose to wear masks or not participate in activities until they feel safe. Participation in all activities using CA facilities (indoor or outdoor) remains, as always, at the sole discretion of each resident/member and is done so at their own risk.
Below are recommendations (not requirements) from the CA Board and Directors:
- All drinking fountains will be out of order until Williamson County is out of the code red phase. Bottle fillers will still be available for use.
- Sharing food at social events should only be between members of the same household.
**Please consider limiting potlucks and shareable food at social
events during this time.
- If you feel sick, please stay home.
- If you become ill with Covid-19 after attending a club, neighborhood or social event/activity, please inform the club president, NRep or event host.
