Sun City Texas Is "Best of the Best"

On August 18, the Austin Chapter of the Community Association Institute hosted their annual Community Awards Banquet. Sun City Texas staff asked our residents and staff to submit acknowledgment recommendations for awards during the summer months and it paid off!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the awards program which acknowledges well-deserved excellence in common interest community governance and stewardship. In the Community Large Scale Division, Sun City Texas was honored to receive awards as the "best of the best" in Financial Health, Committee Participation and Community of the Year!

Financial Health acknowledges communities that have made great strides to improve their financial stewardship and/or overcome financial obstacles to obtain a healthy bottom line/balanced budget and adequate reserve funding.

Committee Participation honors community associations with boards/committees that proactively participate in their associations as it relates to their roles and responsibilities.

Community of the Year honors top homeowner and condominium associations in the greater Austin area, regardless of size, demonstrating overall excellence and innovation in a majority of the individual categories of community excellence.
Thanks to the residents, volunteers and staff who help create these achievements in their everyday contributions to Sun City Texas!

Finally, Katie Sutton, Director of Administration and Human Resources, was presented with the 2016 Onsite Manager of the Year award at the recognition banquet. The Onsite Manager of the Year acknowledges the top onsite manager who excels at providing their community with knowledge and expertise crucial to the successful operations of the association.
