LMH Update

Irrigation settings
Set to three days a week to apply 1 inch of water to the landscape

Tree trimming in progress
Doleva Elite Tree Service is working in neighborhoods 14A, then 25, then 30. The crew is on site every Thursday and Friday completing an average of 14 trees a day, concentrating on trees that need immediate roofline, driveway and street clearance.

Webworms eating new leaves on TX Mountain Laurels
Mountain Laurels are being sprayed with dipel dust and door tags are being left by the applicator.

Life Oaks: Leaves turning brown and dropping.
The recent rains created a fungus called rust. Live Oaks are mostly affected and any leaves that the tree cannot support through photosynthesis are being shed. This will not harm the trees and no chemical application is needed or recommended by our arbor care experts.

Plant Removals
Plant removals are being completed in neighborhood 30 then 24A.

New Plantings
NH14A in the next two weeks then NH 30 then 24A.

Details
Crews are concentrating on River Rock outside edging, repairing downspouts, shrub pruning, adding mulch and rock in disturbed areas and replacing damaged and broken green valve covers in lawns.

Declining Turf:
Identifying all turf areas that are in need of shade tolerant Zoysia grass where applicable or an evergreen groundcover. 2016 budget dollars to pay for as many turf areas as possible. Any other turf needs to be addressed under 2017 budget next spring.

  3. You may also send an email to [email protected]. Make sure that you put "Service Request" and your address in the subject field.
