Safety Alert:
Use Caution Entering
State Hwy. 195 South
from Ronald Reagan

Submitted by Jim Romine, Executive Director, [email protected]

This safety reminder is for those traveling on the new on ramp from Ronald Reagan to south bound Highway 195. Due to the sharp curve in the road, please watch your speed and be careful and attentive. The City, County and TXDOT have received numerous calls about the safety of this ramp and our State Representative Marsha Farney and our Williamson County Commissioner Valerie Covey are both working with TXDOT to secure safer remedies. All said, when using this ramp to enter Highway 195 south from Ronald Reagan, please be careful, watch the signs and watch your speed.

Soliciting Guidelines

Submitted by Jim Romine, Executive Director, 512-948-7703, [email protected]

As a reminder, please proceed with caution when dealing with any vendor or solicitor before handing over money or signing any contracts. Due diligence will go a long way in saving yourself money, time and hassle with a less than reputable company. Furthermore, the CA cannot restrict solicitors from our community, however, if you do not want them knocking on your door, you can place a “no soliciting” sign by your front entry.

To read the full CA guidelines on "no solicitors" signs and to learn about Georgetown's  soliciting guidelines, click the link below.

Deer Management
Program

As many of you are aware, the CA manages the deer population in the community through a deer removal program conducted under the oversight of the CA Wildlife Management Committee and a professional wildlife biologist.

Based on the results from the fall deer census and recommendations from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, we will remove 175 deer from the property beginning this week. Feeders and nets have been placed in strategic locations throughout the CA property.

As always, we intend to reach the approved number of deer in as few trappings as possible. If you have questions about the program, please click below to read more.
