   Water Matters

Submitted by Carlton Mathis, Native Area Manager, [email protected]

Cooler, wetter weather continues to be the norm for us here. All controllers should be off. Continued use of irrigation systems presently could result in the development of molds and fungus in the landscape, which can be costly to eradicate. It is not out of the realm of possibilities that controllers could be left off for the remainder of the year. Last year we were able to leave them off from October through as late as April!
