More Rain on the Horizon

Submitted by Carlton Mathis, Water Manager, [email protected]

I hope that everyone is adjusting to the recent time change, and that your irrigation controller clock was set accordingly. It’ll probably be another week before my body clock is acclimated. We appear to have entered a wet cycle of weather, and I hope that all controllers are turned off at this point. The current temperatures, rainfall, and humidity preclude the need to run any irrigation systems.

Street Sealant Update

We have received some clarification from the City of Georgetown about the street sealant work. Not all Sun City neighborhoods are scheduled for this road work, however, some may be added to the schedule for next year.

Georgetown will keep its schedule up-to-date on its website (which has already changed due to rain), so if your neighborhood is not on the schedule, you might want to check it after the first of the year.
Follow the link below, then look for the article entitled "Street Sealant Work in Sun City."

"AFTER PLAY"

Monday, November 9 - Saturday, November 14
7 p.m. • $10 pp • Atrium

Anne Meara wrote this dramatic comedy for herself and her partner, Jerry Stiller. The dialogue is New York snappy, both funny and poignant. And, underneath the main theme is a mysterious, Twilight Zone-like thread.

Tickets are available at the CA office, online at www.sctexas.org, or at the door.
