Broadcast Live on Channel 18 Tomorrow's Firewise Town Hall will look forward and back over the years in Sun City! Texas A&M Forest Service will lead with updates from Firewise USA and Texas. Georgetown Fire Department will focus on the theme from Fire Prevention Week, ‘Hear the BEEP While you SLEEP’ focusing on smoke detectors. They also plan to have some equipment on-site for you to check out unless they get a call!
A review of the flood, wildfire, and habitat management program will feature Sun City’s Wildlife Biologist Warren Bluntzer and Firewise’s Paul Ohlenbusch discussing the past, present, and future of the program. The Sun City Texas Firewise Group will finish with an update on activities and how Home Ignition Zone Evaluations can help make Sun City safer.
