New Deadline to Apply to Serve on
the Elections Committee is this

The Nominating Committee has extended the date to receive applications to serve on the Elections Committee until this coming Friday, September 18.

The Elections Committee is an advisory committee to the CA Board of Directors. Its main responsibility is to recommend and implement CA Board policies concerning voting and elections.

In addition to regular monthly meetings, this year the committee plans to sponsor seven different events during the election period, as well as logging the ballots to ensure there is a quorum and counting the ballots on the day of the Annual Member Meeting.

To carry out its duties and implement new policies and procedures, this committee currently needs four people with some combination of these skills:

• Organization and Leadership
• Event Management
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel
• Publicity
• Detail-Oriented Tasks
