You may have served previously on a Committee and would like to serve again. You may have applied previously or are thinking about applying now. Applying is easy. Look for the banners and applications located at Cowan Creek, White Wing, Activity Center, Social Center and Texas Drive Fitness Center lobbies.

Below is a summary of three of the Committees that have openings: Communications Committee – 1 opening The Sun Rays Magazine, email Communicators, website, Channel 79, and the Resource Guide and Directory provide Sun City Texas residents with necessary information about current events updates and activities in Sun City Texas. The purpose of the Committee is to recommend ways to deliver the right message to the right audiences using the right media. Members may have experience in communication, public relations or media.
Elections Committee – 3 openings If you are interested in elections or the political process or have experience in federal, state or local elections this is the Committee for you. As a member of this Committee you will assist with the election of resident members of the CA Board by helping plan Campaign Workshops, campaign calendars, candidate publicity, and ballot and election procedures. Members may have skills in organizing data and events, creating, maintaining and designing documents and in working with the public.
Emergency Management Committee – 2 openings Would you like to help Sun City residents be prepared for emergency situations? As a member of the Emergency Management Committee you will help educate and train residents in emergency procedures by planning and participating in emergency exercises, training classes and Town Halls. Residents who serve on this Committee may have experience in the medical field, emergency/safety procedures, fire safety, law enforcement or communications. Download an application »
