On Saturday and Sunday, February 21 - 22, the Hunting and Fishing Club has arranged for the pond at Cowan Creek to be open all day for trout fishing for the entire community. No permit is needed for this pond (however permits are needed elsewhere) and you may keep any trout you catch, but anything else must be released. In addition, the golf course management has agreed to move the tee boxes forward, so everyone may fish around the entire perimeter of the pond.
