The Resident Board of Directors of the Sun City Texas Community Association (SCTXCA) are seeking dedicated individuals interested in volunteering their time, expertise, experience to lead or assist in the research and development of two important projects outlined below.

Hydro Geologist Position:

SCTXCA needs a geologist with expertise in groundwater. We are searching for individuals who can provide, and access information related to the groundwater configurations beneath SCTXCA and its adjacent areas. The SCTXCA aims to assess the potential for aquifer storage and recovery on our 5,000 acres, determine water well production rates, and understand the impact on the Lower Trinity Aquifer.

Community Drawings and Documents Research:

We are looking for someone to research how construction drawings and documents related to community facilities can be accessed, viewed, and printed. These documents are currently filed with the City of Georgetown and, in some cases, with Williamson County. The goal is to compile a comprehensive guide on "how to access SCTXCA facility documents" from City and County archives, ultimately storing and cataloging these drawings on our server. Examples of drawings include those related to stormwater, sewer, water, non-potable water piping, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, floorplans, parking lots, and various activity courts and retention ponds. Additionally, we seek information on documents like the SCTXCA Development Agreement filed with the County.
