After careful consideration, including discussions with our legal counsel, the Sun City Texas Board of Directors has voted unanimously to remove the Chartered Club policy change discussion and vote from the agenda for the Thursday, August 25 Board meeting.  

The determination has been made that our existing Charter Clubs Policy already requires club membership to be open to all bona fide members of the Association without discrimination and that changes to the policy are not necessary.  

The community association staff, and board of directors will continue to work with our legal counsel to provide guidance and assistance when an association member requests accommodations.
